Deploy an email and sms campaign to support a key dealership partner by driving online traffic and measuring sales to the individual customer level.
Using the client's highly contextualized consumer database, Audience Sherpa identified target consumers that:
Preferred to buy their next crossbow online
Planned to buy within 6 months
Planned to buy models at $500 or higher value
Lived east of the Mississippi River
Over 4,000 targeted consumers were sent an email offering a custom coupon code good for $100 in free accessories with their purchase of a new crossbow. The dealership supplied the free goods, client provided the activation tools.
Contacts received the first email offering. 2 weeks before the offer's deadline a reminder email was sent to anyone that did not click through on first email. 1 week out an SMS message was sent to all targeted contacts. 4 days before deadline an SMS reminder message was sent to all entrants who generated a coupon code.
When clicked the consumer landed at a client hosted webpage with a simple coupon generator form. The customer provided name and email as well as which crossbow brand they currently owned. Upon entry the consumer was offered a unique code that added the free goods to their qualified order on dealer's website. Audience Sherpa also instantly sent an email to the entrant confirming their entry and providing their unique coupon code.
The campaign drove the following results from the 5 week campaign:
Initial email delivered 54% open rate & 38% click rate
Generic SMS delivered 550 page views, 430 entries
Final reminder SMS delivered 18 sales in 4 days
77 Total sales, over $50k in gross sales in 5 weeks
